Dahlia bouquets and arrangements
Butter Ode, Green Ode and Skyfall also sit in our anthurium collection, so they pair dahlias with anthuriums in a vase. Camille and Anemone Flow are vase designs too, and Rococo comes in a flower box. All the Pinks, as the name suggests, stays in one color family, while Bloom Crush, Pastel Crush and Gummy round out the range. Across the collection, dahlias share space with roses, hydrangeas, peonies, lisianthus, snapdragons, bellflowers and calla lilies, and some designs come in baskets.
Choosing dahlias
Dahlias suit birthdays, dinner parties and fall celebrations, and anyone who likes bold, textured flowers. Burgundy feels rich and moody; cream and pink feel soft and romantic. Our dahlia arrangements suit the cooler months, when they stay fresh and travel well. For more texture, see our anthurium bouquets or hydrangea bouquets.
How to care for dahlias
Dahlias are cut close to full bloom, because their buds rarely open in a vase. Give the stems a fresh angled cut, strip any leaves below the waterline and change the water every three days. Keep the vase cool and out of direct sun, and pull off browning outer petals to keep the heads neat. Most dahlias last about five days to a week. Our flower care guide goes into more detail.
Dahlia delivery across LA
We deliver seven days a week across Los Angeles and Orange counties, and Santa Monica, Brentwood and North Hollywood are all in range. Set the date and a preferred time at checkout, keeping in mind that we can't guarantee an exact time. Our delivery policy lists every ZIP code we cover.
When are dahlias in season?
Dahlias bloom from midsummer until the first frost, with late summer and early fall as their peak. That makes early fall one of the best times to send them, especially for an autumn birthday or dinner table.
