Hydrangea
Hydrangea delivery in Los Angeles
A single hydrangea stem carries a full, rounded head of small florets, which is why florists reach for it when a bouquet needs volume. We have about 30 hydrangea designs, covering bouquets, vase arrangements and flower boxes. Same-day hydrangea delivery in Los Angeles is available on orders placed by 4:30 PM.
Hydrangea bouquets and arrangements
If you want blue or white, look at Blue Fluff, White Fluff and Pond and Sky. The collection also includes Daisy Cloud, Gummy, Sweetness, Pure Fantasy, Lavender Blush, Secret Garden and the Pink Blooms flower box. Depending on the design, hydrangea is paired with roses, peonies, dahlias, ranunculus, lisianthus, orchids, delphinium, snapdragons, calla lilies or chamomile. Use the color filter to narrow the page to blue, white, pink, purple or green.
Choosing a hydrangea bouquet
Hydrangeas work for housewarmings, birthdays, thank-yous and get-well wishes. Blue and white read calm and fresh; pink and purple feel softer and more romantic. A vase arrangement or flower box is the easiest gift because it arrives ready to display. For more designs with hydrangea in the mix, browse our rose bouquets, where many arrangements pair roses with hydrangea and peonies.
How to keep hydrangeas fresh
Hydrangeas drink heavily, and their big heads wilt fast once the water runs low. Check the vase every day and keep it full of cool water. Give the stems a fresh angled cut and new water every three days. Keep the arrangement out of direct sun and away from heaters. The flower care guide has more detail.
Hydrangea delivery across Los Angeles
Delivery runs seven days a week across Los Angeles and Orange counties, with ZIP codes in Beverly Hills, Burbank and Los Feliz on our list. Choose a delivery date and time at checkout, keeping in mind that the exact time isn't guaranteed, and look up your ZIP code in our delivery policy. You can also pick up your order in Long Beach.
How do you revive a wilted hydrangea?
Recut the stem, then submerge the whole flower head in a sink or bowl of cool water for 20 to 30 minutes. Hydrangeas can take in water through their florets as well as their stems, so a drooping head often recovers after a soak. If it doesn't, recut the stem once more and put it straight into fresh water.
