Delphinium Bouquet
Delphinium bouquet delivery in Los Angeles
Delphinium grows in tall spikes covered with open florets, and it's one of the few flowers that comes in a true blue, as well as white, pink and purple. It adds height and movement to a bouquet. Our collection has 19 designs in vases, boxes and bouquets. Order by 4:30 PM, and your delphinium bouquet delivery in Los Angeles or Orange County can go out the same day.
Delphinium bouquets we carry
Pond and Sky, as the name hints, plays up cool blues. Skyfall and Cantata are vase designs that also feature anthuriums, and you'll find delphinium in Persephone, Sorbet Flow, Pastel Ode, July Whisper and Alice in Wonderland too. Across the collection it appears with roses, hydrangeas, peonies, lisianthus, orchids, amaryllis, anthuriums, dahlias, ranunculus, tulips and calla lilies, so you can choose a soft pastel mix or a bolder, more structured vase.
Choosing delphinium
Delphinium feels light and summery and suits loose, asymmetrical bouquets. Blue delphinium works for birthdays and new beginnings; white suits weddings and sympathy. For more blue, see our hydrangea bouquets; for a wildflower feel, browse our chamomile bouquets.
How to care for delphinium
Delphinium drinks heavily through its hollow stems, so top up the vase with cool water every day. Recut the stems and change the water every three days. The florets are sensitive to ethylene, a gas that ripening fruit gives off, and they drop when the flowers dry out or sit near a fruit bowl. Keep the vase away from heaters and direct sun. More tips are in our flower care guide.
Delphinium delivery across LA
Glendale, West Hollywood and Los Feliz are among the neighborhoods we reach seven days a week across Los Angeles and Orange counties. Pick a date and a preferred time at checkout; we'll aim for it, but exact times aren't guaranteed. You can check your ZIP code in our delivery policy.
Is delphinium poisonous to pets?
Yes. All parts of delphinium, also called larkspur, are toxic to dogs, cats and people if eaten, so keep the vase out of reach of pets and small children. If you think a pet has chewed some, call your vet right away.
